1. Reservations can be made by email, fax or telephone.
  2. All rates are net without any commission in American dollars and per person.
  3. Tours include private transportation and guide as well as entrance fees to museums, archeological sites and national parks. Tours described as trekkings or visits to national parks include meals, camping gear and basic accommodation.
  4. For group reservations we require a complete rooming list 30 days prior to the service.
  5. Tours do not include personal insurance. When passengers require hospital or medical services, clients must pay through private travel insurance. The company will provide all first aid assistance if necessary.
  6. Passengers are fully responsible for their travel documents like passport, visa and vaccination certificates.
  7. Passengers are responsible for their luggage.
  8. The company reserves the right to change, delay or cancel itineraries as well as substitute hotels as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper operation of the tour, in accordance with both parties. The client is bound by any such changes made and additional expenses, if any, may be charged to the client.
  9. The company accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in buses, trains, flights, boats or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, road blocks, quarantine or other causes. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the client.
  10. Services must be paid for at least 30 days in advance. Payment can be done by Western Union, DHL or bank transfer to our account number.
  11. Once the booking has been accepted by Ernie Travel, cancellations of the tours by the client can only be made in writing. Conditions of these cancellation fees are as follows:
    • If cancellation is received between 30 days and 20 days before the beginning of the tour, the company will retain 50% of the total payment.
    • If cancellation is received between 20 days and 10 days before the beginning of the tour, the company will retain 75% of the total payment.
    • If cancellation is received 10 days before the beginning of the tour and in case of no show, the company will retain 100% of the total payment.
